This made me laugh, Bill! I was... 16? And wanted black hair, which my Mum´d never allowed. So my friend and I went to get black hair color at the drug store to make at home in secret - and I turned out like an aubergine! Just like her! Not what I wanted! She went and got a "de-color" and I came out like a carrot.
