the paper stop

is in the process of being renovated.  It began in Sept and currently they are working up where the roof used to be.  From one of the locals, this building has been vacant for the last 10 years.  The roof had holes in it and the floors were filled with tons of rubbish which they spent weeks removing and filling the skips.  I have no idea what this building will become but it is going to take a lot more time to finish the project.

  5. I am sure there must be some good foundation there. The projects are slow here to and they roofs are being mended. You'll have to give us an update. Our Barnes and Noble is taking forever and that's where Best Buy used to be.

  10. Looks like all that is left of this building are the exterior walls. They will have to build a new building inside the old walls. Please give an update when there is more progress.

  23. It’s incredible to see the transformation of the building over time! The amount of work that’s been put into it is impressive, especially after all the rubbish was cleared out. It’s always exciting to see what these renovations will eventually become—hopefully something that will benefit the community. I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait once it’s finished! Keep the updates coming, it’s fascinating to watch the progress.

  30. Nice series of photos Bill. With renovations you can always run into unexpected problems such as the presence of asbestos which here in the Netherlands always causes a lot of fuss and extra money.

  31. That is up high but renovations are good as well as they are tasteful to the building.
