This made me laugh, Bill. Like in former GDR some just put a chair on the road: No parking here today, we move/get the plumber/whatever! Fancy guys, you! 17C, sunny here, yessss :-) Have a nice day
Wow, they are serious... hard to imagine anyone would ever actually move one of those things and try to park illegally anyway, even if they were unsecured, but I guess they must. (I’d be afraid the road would fall in and bury my car ... so I’d never cheat. Haha, my conscience is fear!)
I'm sure you could park there if you really wanted to...
ReplyDeleteThere will always be someone who will park anywhere they want to.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit unusual.
ReplyDeleteNever seen this before...

Are they lit at night?
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
It's amazing where people will park. Especially, if they work for the CITY. Cool photo!
ReplyDeleteClassic
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice big house across the street!
ReplyDeleteThat’s clear enough for anyone to understand..
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThey made sure no one would park there. Take care, enjoy your day!
They won't stop a heavy vehicle!
ReplyDeleteThey take their no parking rules seriously there!
ReplyDeleteI guess that would mean NO PARKING there? ! Have a great Tuesday, Bill. Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteThey are really serious about it! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to stop people from parking there.

ReplyDeleteThese bollards also make bicycle riding more difficult. There must be a reason these were installed, but it makes little sense in your photo.
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess that someone has tried to park there. Never fails...
ReplyDeleteEsos bolardos aseguran que ninguna persona aparque su coche ahí.
ReplyDeleteParece que la lluvia ha hecho acto de presencia, ya que la carretera se ve mojada.
I guarantee there'll be people who'll park anyway, and claim ignorance when they get ticketed.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly mean NO PARKING !
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They really mean it, don't they?

ReplyDeleteThey mean business. Some people need that extra incentive.
ReplyDeleteStrange sight indeed.
ReplyDeleteCuriosa fotografía te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteNo one is parking there for sure Bill 😉
ReplyDeleteGood shot and view!
