I am tired of so many restrictions, but I am following them...grateful that I am getting up every morning, that I can do the chores which are my responsibility, that I am free...
It's sad to see a playground in lockdown. That really personifies the cruel impact of the pandemic, but the kids will survive to play another day. Some of their parents may not be so lucky.
I heard that! We should be in lock down here but of course "money" is deemed more important. Our hospitals have once again paused elective procedures as they battle with overflowing Covid wards.
Yesterday I saw lots of families on our playground...so though bars and restaurants have dropped back to 30% occupancy, kids still get to play. Not sure if anyone will take part in school at the school however.
Here in the Netherlands there are also many restrictions and only the supermarkets are open. We have a small playing field outside here and they are allowed childeren to play football there. The 2nd lockdown is here until January 18th and we'll hear more.
I know the feeling. Lock downed here until January 23. The numbers are high and the health care system is overwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteDear Lord, help us.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Bill.
Hello,
ReplyDeleteI am sure the kiddies are sad they can not go out and play. Take care, enjoy your day! Wishing you a great new week ahead!
Hi Bill.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look very good all in the world yet.
Greetings from Patricia.
Looks really deserted.

ReplyDeleteI remain optimistic ... when the weather will be nice the children will play outside again! Right?

Sad, but I do wish we were in lockdown here. I am in the midwest and our govoner doesn't seem to care. He just keeps smiling.

ReplyDelete...I believe that playgrounds are open here.
ReplyDeleteIt's a sad view. Our lockdown hopefully ends on January 17th.

ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw a playground fenced off it gave me a jolt to think about restrictions for kids.
ReplyDeleteToo cold for the playground. Never seen so many toys on springs, interesting.
ReplyDeleteSad indeed. Stay safe, Bill!
ReplyDeleteSame here---all playgrounds closed
ReplyDeleteMB
Stay safe there Bill.
ReplyDeleteOh no, stay safe. I'm surprised we aren't on lock down again yet.
ReplyDeleteWe came out of lockdown Dec 29th. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteIt's understandable but such a shame.
ReplyDeleteLet us hope things improve soon!
All the best Jan
Kind of sad to see an empty playground.
ReplyDeleteThe month of January is a terrible time to have a lockdown!

ReplyDelete31st?!!!! Horrible. Henry - and me too, we are shocked. Here they say 10th. But discussion to come tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteJanuary 23rd here.
ReplyDeleteSame here Bill. Scotland went in to full lockdown today and looking like England will follow!
ReplyDeleteOur numbers are way down and we are not on lock down. I got my first dose of the vaccine here a few days ago.
ReplyDeleteSadly it’s the same in playgrounds here and I have even seen ones cordoned off which is even sadder.
