from the other side
This was taken from the other side of Killybegs Harbour. You can see the Old Coast Station (OCGS) in the distance with its tower. To the left of the OCGS is St. Catherine's Vocational School. The blue building in the foreground is a fish processing plant and its roof is the landing spot for all the birds who, as we know, love fish. A few fishing boats leave this location early in the morning and also dock here on their return to unload their catch.

ReplyDeletePlenty of space there. Locally obtained fish is always a great luxury, so much better than the supermarket stuff.
