picking up litter early one morning last week.  It's too bad we need people like these to keep the roads and footpaths cleaned.   We thank you!

we were on a bus the other day and the road work was still going on with no end in sight.  There are lights set up to allow people travelling in the opposite direction a chance to go forward.  The red light was set for 4 minutes and it seemed to last forever.  Less than 2 minutes to go.

he just wanted a little attention.  He lives a few houses up the road and after we petted him, off he went   A nice and friendly dog.

Seen in Buncrana last week.  There have been an increase in fatalities in the last few years and hopefully this sign will be a reminder for both drivers and cyclists.

Saw this guy and don't know what he's doing.  We overheard him say that he was looking for a mark in the road.  The road was just repaved after some new pipe was laid so I guess he's having a problem.   Wonder if the gizmo lights up or makes a sound if he finds the mark.

The town workers have been working on this street for the last few weeks digging up the road and laying some PVC pipe.  I guess there is some kind of problem but I have no idea what it is.   At least they are enjoying the friendly conversation.

This is road that leads us back to town.  At the bottom just take a left and you're heading toward Main St.  which is about a mile away.  That is Lough Foyle you see in the photo and it was a very nice day for a walk.
