the green flag

means that this school is a participant of the Green School program.  Green-Schools is Ireland’s leading environmental management and education program for schools.
Promoting long-term, whole-school action for the environment Green-Schools is a student-led program with involvement from the wider community. The program is operated and co-ordinated by the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce (The National Trust for Ireland).

the back view

We passed these houses on our way to community garden.  I liked the view as soon as I saw it.

the side street

The side street can get very crowded at times with parents picking up their kids at school, buses going and coming and city workers with their big trucks.  I'm glad that I walk.

Time to back it up and put it away because later it's going to be some heavy rain and thunderstorms coming through the area.

The town workers have been working on this street for the last few weeks digging up the road and laying some PVC pipe.  I guess there is some kind of problem but I have no idea what it is.   At least they are enjoying the friendly conversation.

mixed weather

Cloudy, windy, occasional light rain, occasional heavy rain, a bit of sun and not much else!  I guess we got all kinds of weather rolled into one day.
