watch out
Some of the snow and sleet gathered on the roofs began sliding off last night. You have to be careful where you walk.
You do have to be careful this time of year. When I worked in Chicago is a sky-scraper that has a diamond shaped slanted roof. During the snowy season they used to have to close the sidewalk below that roof because of sliding snow and ice.
Brrrr....it looks so cold. Hope you both are staying warm. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteSnow is beautiful to see, but also dangerous for sliding out.
Groettie from Patricia.
And all that stuff is now coming over to us.
ReplyDeleteThe hazards of winter are upon you.
ReplyDeleteWinter has really started now, here too!
ReplyDelete...you need snow grippers on the roof.
ReplyDeleteTread with caution, Bill.
ReplyDeleteWe have to be so careful!!

ReplyDeleteWe are having the first snow of the season here today, so we have to be careful too :)
ReplyDeleteLots of that stuff over here today too.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Bill that looks really cold
ReplyDeleteNot what I expect to see there, Bill! We have had no snow here yet but it is supposed to come in tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteSomething we're quite familiar with here, Bill. We got snow in the night again. This might be the one that sticks around.
ReplyDeleteFinalmente o frio e a neve.
ReplyDeleteUm bom Domingo.

Brrrr! One of my least favourite parts of winter is walking on icy surfaces...I shuffle like penguin. It seems to help.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that would be quite a surprise to walk under a load of falling snow! I don't even think I could walk through it anymore -- out of practice.
ReplyDeleteBoth the photographs induce chilling!
ReplyDeleteI've been to Ireland several times but I suppose not it winter. Still, this is surprising. Is the Gulf Stream weakening?
ReplyDeleteI whine about our cold weather but at least so far we haven't had to deal with this icy misery. Stay safe and warm!
ReplyDeleteWet snow---the worst. Maybe no snow for us---yay!
ReplyDeleteMB
Ja, also snow! Nice to see.
