and a shortcut on the way to town,  This area is usually used for storage.

  4. I am impressed that there are no overflowing barrels or crates of unwanted items. Despite the obvious age of the structure, the surrounding area is remarkably free of debris.

  5. Some old parts of Toronto have those alleys with garages - for cars or used as storage.

    No rubbish around though.

    It does make an interesting photograph.
