the remains
of an unused old Boys' School that burnt down in July of 2016.
I love those situations with a dark grey sky and the sun is just still peeping under to light up the buildings in the foreground. Well done Bill. Great shot.

That is sad to see a burnt down school.
ReplyDelete...and what will become of it?
ReplyDeleteThat is sad.
ReplyDeleteThe sky sets the tone for this picture. Sad that the bldg. was unused and burned.
ReplyDeleteGreat photoof the remains against that sky, Bill.
ReplyDeleteI can't help but to wonder what stories that place has!
ReplyDeleteYou caught the scene with pretty much perfect light on it.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it will ever have a destination again?
ReplyDeleteFire is such a tragedy. Is any of the building salvageable?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea and neither does the people who own it. I did hear that they will try to do something a while back but nothing has happened so far.
DeleteI wonder if they will rebuild?
ReplyDeleteMust be holding dear memories for so many! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteThere's more of that gorgeous winter light against a dark sky. It really lights up winter shots nicely, even if it's a sadly deserted old school.
ReplyDeleteOh too bad. Fire is so nasty. I wonder if it is salvageable?
