caution

I happened to walking past this gate and heard the bird crash in to the fence.   After a few minutes the poor stunned bird got up and flew off.

  1. I am glad the little guy survived the accident. Perhaps a bigger sign written in tweets would be helpful. ~(‾▿‾)~

  8. Oh poor thing. I'm glad it was alright. I have a friend who has a lot of windows in her house, big windows. She has to put up a row of feathers across the top of some of the windows so that birds would see the movement and not fly into them.

  9. I've often thought there are probably more bird "accidents" than we see going about our daily lives. I wonder what happened that he'd be flying so low and run into such a colorful object? A fine shot, Bill!

  10. Maybe he flew too fast to notice the sign. I'm glad he survived, somehow these little birds are very flexible.

  13. Sometimes it seems that birds survive crashes that would put humans into the hospital. I'm glad this one survived.
