the name reminds me of when my dad took me to Louie the barber to get my haircut.   Even if we were the only two people in his shop,  he would still ask, OK, who’s next even though my dad didn't need his hair cut.  :)

vintage tea days are here and they're getting ready for the cruise ships coming in this month.  We had the MS Oriana today, the MS Queen Elizabeth comes in on Friday.

MS Oriana will visit Killybegs on Tuesday 17th July 2018 with 1800 passengers and 760 crew. This cruise ship will arrive at 09.00 and depart at 17.00. MS Oriana is one of the smallest cruise ships in the P&O Cruises fleet. Oriana elegantly combines classic design features such as teak decks and a tiered stern with delightful Art Deco touches. Exclusively for adults, she exudes refinement and luxury. Oriana’s signature features are a stunning atrium with a Tiffany glass ceiling and her panoramic Crow’s Nest bar.

is part of Swan Park in Buncrana.  It is closed now due to flooding during one of the storms we had earlier.  There's a lot of work to be done before it will open again to the public.  As you walk through the trail, you see signs on little plaques identifying the different trees, leaves and plants.  Also there are some for animal tracks.  It's a very easy and nice walk.  These photos were taken in the summer of 2016 on one of our trips to Buncrana.  We're told we are going experience some crappy weather this week with snow, sleet or rain plus it's going to be colder.  So this is a good time to show these summer images.

I happened to walking past this gate and heard the bird crash in to the fence.   After a few minutes the poor stunned bird got up and flew off.
