Happy St. Patrick's Day
you can join the fun at the River Walk, it's all ready for the big day. We walked it yesterday and was surprised at the job people did to create this fun excursion for the families and their kids.
Let's take the tour and see what we find. First, the sign that greets you at the entrance, it tells you what you will find and see. Make sure you to look for these items as you walk.
a smart leprechaun always wears a mask these days
another smart leprechaun who masks up
a good luck fairy lives here
Happy St. Patrick's Day sign
facts about the leprechauns
shh, don't disturb the leprechaun
the leprechaun's laundry
some daffodils decorate the leprechaun's front garden
and here is the elusive pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
Now we reached the end of our walk. Hope you enjoyed it, I'm off to check out the pot of gold. :)

Patrick's Parade
Patrick leading the way. The parade started out in the sun but before it was over, hail was coming down. Regardless of the weather it was a fun day for all in Killybegs.

the parade
commenced and there was no rain just cold temps and wind. Behind the people were trucks with bunting, fire engines, ambulances and a few tractors, all with ads for their services. The people walking looked cold but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Another fun small community event, well done by everyone.

These photos finish the St. Patrick's Day parade. It was great to see everyone having fun even in the rain. More rain today too. We need sun asap!
