Those dry stone walls are always a highlight for me when I visit the UK. I have only been to Ireland twice, both times on business, so I didn’t have the chance to get out into the country.
So great, the angle you chose for this pic. Always great to see these still around. I know I haven't seen one in ages. In fact, never in the midlands. Only in the Hill Country of Texas.

Quite a Well-Built wall. The Hawaiians were excellent at building masonry free walls of stones fit together carefully. We still carry that on in the Hawaiian Islands by repairing the old walls and building new ones incorporating features of the old fashioned. Thanks for this beautiful interesting photo Bill. Aloha
