storm barra

hit us full force yesterday.  Gusty winds, power outages and some flooding.  We had a power outage for a few hours when the storm first arrived on Tuesday but no flooding.  It was supposed to be gone by Wed. but the forecast got updated and changed.  The winds have died down tonight and hopefully that will be it.  This is a photo I took through our window yesterday morning.  It was way to windy to be outside plus I didn't want to get blown away. :)

wet days ahead

another rainy day with  the remnants of Hurricane Epsilon heading our way.  It is expected on Tuesday night, bringing strong winds and rain, but the full force of it will hit on Wednesday.  When it rains it pours.  Our trees are slow showing their colours but after the storm this tree might have no leaves left on it.

valid from 9pm tonight (monday) until 5pm tomorrow.  It will bring some intense rainfall according to the weather forecast.
