ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteToo bad everything from the past is disappearing.
Greetings from Patricia.
Good to see nice blue ones, they are disappearing down here as well.
ReplyDeleteOn our news a night ago we were show the floods in Killybegs - just dreadful.
Oh, it is sad. They are still needed for emergencies. But there are none around here.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss ours...can hardly find one, anymore!

Part of history!
ReplyDeleteEnd of an era.
ReplyDeleteThey are hard to find! Take care, have a great day and a happy new week.
ReplyDeleteThe coin-picker... good memories, sometimes less good... Have a, nice week, my friend. A hug ☘️🌈
ReplyDelete...they've all disappeared here too.
ReplyDeleteI don't see a single one over here....all gone..wait, this morning I did see one, but totally damaged.
ReplyDeleteIt's so rare to find a working phone booth these days!
ReplyDeleteIt's one of those big changes that I've seen happen in just the last 25 years.
ReplyDeleteYou can still find a few of them here around town, Bill.
ReplyDeleteI hated using those phones.
ReplyDeleteCan't remember the last time I used one. We had one at the train stationvin Tungelsta. Long gone.
ReplyDeleteI haven't used one in over 30 years.
ReplyDeletePayphones used to be ubiquitous here, too, but one can't find them now. Kind of makes me sad . . . Blessings, Bill!
ReplyDeleteI try to photograph one of these when ever I see one, and there aren't many around any more. Pay phones are so 20th Century.
ReplyDeleteI remember using them ... hearing a notice money running out!
ReplyDeleteHaha.
That is history now. Cant believe time changes so fast
ReplyDeleteIn quite a few towns and viellages in this country, telephone boxes have been converted into public bookcases where anyone can help themselves to books and also make books they have read available to the general public.
ReplyDeleteHerewith I release viellages from an "e". ;-)
DeleteEveryone has a mobile these days!
ReplyDeleteQue tiempos aquellos. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen a pay phone in years.
ReplyDeleteRare sightings indeed. It interesting to see these that are different to the ones we were used to here in the states. Thank you for sharing. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteWas very nice and very comfotable, was not it?
ReplyDeleteNow that's a blast from the past! Where will Superman change now that phone booths are gone?
ReplyDeleteColorful telephone! Sorry you don't have it now.
ReplyDeleteWe also seldom see the public phones. They are bright green, one color.
Good to see these relics!
ReplyDeleteThese are long gone in Finland.
ReplyDeleteWe have one here but they seem to be a thing of the past.
ReplyDeleteQuerido Bill, preciosa foto, hace mucho que no veo uno, son historia ya.
ReplyDeleteAbrazos y te dejo un beso, que tengas un feliz día
We still see a few in the mountains where there is no cell phone signal.
ReplyDeleteYes ... most people have a mobile now.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
