  4. Old Dutch windmills are very pretty and become part of the landscape, giant wind turbines not so much.

  6. Too many wind turbines and the world will fly off this galaxy. How much electricity is used to keep all these turbines going round and round? Too much to pay to make the countryside look pretty.

    God bless.

  12. It was a gray day for photographing the wind turbines. Wind is a wonderful source of environmentally friendly energy. Our power comes from them here.

  17. I love wind turbines but I don't live close enough to any to know if they are so loud as some say. But there is something peaceful about watching them.

  18. I don't get out into the countryside very often so don't see many of them. There is only one in the city that I see once in a while. They are controversial in many circles.

  21. Opinions are split about them. They certainly don't contribute to the beautification of the landscape. But the windmills in La Mancha are also known to have served as enemies ;-)

  24. Grey day, cloudy sky, probably windy - putting the wind turbines at work. I'm very much for wind energy alternative.
