Good to see progress. Hopefully, you won't have to worry about any of them as thieves after they get off work. Of course, I heard this story a decade or so ago that happened to a teacher I knew..how the roofers stole all their stuff.
Looks like the house got a cool haircut :) First time visiting your blog... clicked your link from the comments of another blog post ... I like blogging too https://pagesfromjayashree.blogspot.com/2021/06/voltage-drop-and-load-shedding.html
I have done some of this work, and roofing is hard. Here people working on roofs would be required to have safety harnesses and ropes. Good work in progress photo.
Ana

ReplyDeleteVery brave to work up there.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Roofing is hard work; I have done a few in my day. Are the tiles made of slate?
ReplyDeleteYes they're made of slate, most of the roofs here are.

ReplyDeleteFunny how we wear our our roofs…
ReplyDeleteGood idea Bill.. a new roof is like the icing on the cake 😉
ReplyDeleteNot a job you'd catch me doing these days; my head for heights is not what it used to be.
ReplyDeleteI thought they were installing a solar system :-)
ReplyDeleteEverytime I have seen a roofing project, it has made me thankful not to be up there doing that job!
ReplyDeleteThey must check the weather before starting the work:-)) Happy day Bill.
ReplyDelete...it's good investment.
ReplyDeleteBy the looks of the sky it looks like they probably won't finish before the rain arrives!
ReplyDeleteA very good job!

Hard and risky work, but necessary.
ReplyDeleteGood shot.
Daring job and its a cool shot on the work!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very well organized job! I hope they beat the rain.
ReplyDeleteI could never do that, I don't like heights. Looks like it'll be a nice roof though.
ReplyDeleteUna vez restaurado, no habrá peligro de que entre el agua en el interior de la casa.
ReplyDeleteA big job. I've shingled a roof a time or two!!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteThey better get crack-a-lacking!
ReplyDeleteHopefully they did not have to do it in the rains!
ReplyDeleteGenial fotografÃa y es bueno prevenir que sufrir en las lluvias. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteBill - I always admire people who can work at those sort of heights!!!
ReplyDeleteI could never do this.
ReplyDeleteVery good job
ReplyDeletewe got a new roof 2 years ago
Certainly not a job for those who are afraid of heights! Neat capture, Bill.
ReplyDeleteAt least it will be dry inside when they finish, wondering did they get it all on before it rained.
ReplyDeleteGreat roof. I am jealous lol we have a flat roof :-|
ReplyDeleteI really admire people who do this kind of hard work. It is grueling in warm weather.
