the foyle hotel

the rain and gusty wind is causing some of the plastic covering to rip and flap around.  Tying up the ripped ends helped.

    It really is a problem here too as the gusts of wind blew over roadwork signs - and my washing line!!

    Oh no, I think the windy season is gritty and depressing. We hardly had any this year; I hope it doesn't surprise us and arrive in October!

    The grey weather makes the atmosphere here. With a blue sky its gives a totally other feeling I guess.

    The same happens here sometimes in Montreal. Somehow, although plastic is waterproof, it is not strong enough for those wind gusts.

    I feel sorry for people who have to work out in the elements as the weather starts getting nastier this time of year. Those tarps sort of help but their shortcomings are obvious in this shot.
