two different colours.  The tanks in the road are emptied and used for advertising bottled gas which can be purchased in the store next to this building.  Also, maybe they want to keep those parking spaces free for someone.  Donegal Town is a pay and display town but I didn't see any machines on this side street.  The spire, visible on the right, is the one I showed last week that is being restored.

I saw these three on my walk yesterday.   They stopped eating, turned and watched and I took their photo.  They were very cooperative. :)

the bank walk

in Donegal Town.  This 2.5 km walk  follows the west bank of the River Eske as it empties into Donegal Bay.  It's nice, shady and cool.  A great place to visit on a hot and humid day.  I had an hour to kill before heading back to Killybegs so I enjoyed a walk on the trail.

one of the fairies houses that children had placed in the nooks of trees, there are quite a few of them at the beginning.  I liked this one with the chair.
