glass recycling bins

this place is usually pretty messy with glass broken pieces.  Looks like it was tidied up a bit.

  1. They look pretty much worn out. Nice rustic look though

  4. Oh, lucky you.We always only have one per color, often full to the brim so you need to walk all the way to the next one or take it back home (mostly all are full then).

  8. ...here, recycling isn't all that successful.

  9. The only thing I can say is that it’s better people use glass over plastic and that they take them to be recycled.

  10. It is hard to find a place to recycle glass here. Interesting shot.

  15. That's great! I am curious about that blue one...thought there ain't many blue glasses. We have only green, brown and white here.

  17. Good that the glass has been cleared up.

  18. Interesting. They must have different bins for different kinds of glass,.

  19. I'm impressed by the number of bins, and thinking how hard it would be to put cardboard from boxes in any of them, so they must not recycle them. Here a lot of cardboard is recycled, then plastic, and less glass.

  20. That's what I most dislike about taking glass for recycling - those shards of broken glass on the ground. They've really cleaned up nicely here, Bill. Blessings!

  21. It is an extremely important urban service, but the collectors seem very high! Good evening, Bill. A friendly hug. ☘️🌼🌈🧣

  22. Good to see glass being recycled as it takes up room in landfills. It can always be made into new glass.

  23. Oh it's glass recycling receptacles? I've never seen anything like those before.

  24. I enjoyed browsing your photos. Winter where you are looks much like winter where I am in Eugene, Oregon, USA. I watch every nature show about the wonders of Ireland that comes my way via America's public broadcasting system, and that's a great many.

  26. I wonder how long it takes to fill up one of those bins. And what happens if you accidently put green glass in the brown glass bin????

    1. Those are old stickers on the bins. Now all colours of glass can be thrown in together.
