tidy towns

celebrating sixty years, 1958-2018.  The Tidy Towns is a nationwide competition that encourages people to work together to make their community a better place to live, work and visit.

  2. It is a very desirable aim, one which you would think be at the very core of people’s thinking anyway. Sadly keeping one’s town clean seems to be a priority for hardly anyone, especially smokers with their butt tossing habits.

  4. If only they could have a competition like that for the verges alongside our main roads, they are in a terrible state these days as people seem to think it's OK to toss rubbish from their cars.
