  3. I am always surprised that there are so many ruins that are left to decay and are not cleared away. Here, they are almost never found. This probably has something to do with the size of the country and the number of inhabitants.

  12. Hi Bill: just wanted to let you know I have just finished reading "The Boy from the Sea" by Garrett Carr.... the story takes place in Killybegs. I really enjoyed reading this book, and after seeing so many of your photos of the area I was able to imagine the scenes described in the book.
