off the farm

these tractor owners drop off their kids at school which is across the road.  Seeing someone drive a tractor around town is not unusual but I imagine it could be a bit spendy.

  6. Oh, it does sound like something folks used to do in our farming community back in Texas. Interesting shot.

  7. It seems unusual for tractors to drop off the school kids.
Tractors are a common sight here, riding on the roads from farm to farm.
Take care, have a happy day!

  9. Growing up in Illinois, I remember seeing tractors around town. I don't see them here in Phoenix at all.

  12. That is such a classic small-town sight! There’s something so charming about a tractor in the school drop-off line, though you’re definitely right the fuel costs for that "school bus" must be through the roof. I actually just shared a new post that you might find interesting as well. Check it out here:

  14. Here farmers drive their damn trackers on the roads doing 20mph. They won't pull over to allow the hundreds of cars behind them go past. And most of the roads are not passing roads. The law here is to put them on a truck and transport them that way. It is very irritating. So forgive me if this photo doesn't do much for me. LOL Have a nice day.

  16. This reminds me of when we were in Switzerland. It was common to see tractors being driven through town as if it were a car or truck.

  17. My son used to be obsessed with tractors as a toddler. Still is sometimes. We still do tractors spotting when we see them.

  19. Taking the children to school by tractor is a little different from usual. Each one uses what is most convenient for them.
    Great photo!
