I don't recall hearing Gaelic when I visited the port of Dublin many years ago, but the last time I was in Wales Welsh was spoken freely in many locations. It's great that these languages are still in daily use.
Some beautiful signs. Oh, we are getting back to our roots where ever we are. We had Indigenous day in our state since we don't celebrate Columbus Day anymore.
The Gaelic language sounds appropriately poetic.
ReplyDeleteI love to see the language written down or hear it spoken, but it only convinces me that I'll never learn it!
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteThat looks nice for the kids.
Greetings from Patricia.
Looks like a complicated language. Lucky they use a kind of normal characters.
ReplyDeleteA very beautiful park. My grandsons would love to spend their time there.
ReplyDeleteClear signs.
ReplyDeleteI was expecting bi-lingual signs. I haven't been in Ireland, so I imagined everybody chats only in English and all the signs are in English. :)
