before and after

Last week when we were in Dungloe, I noticed the tree was cut down and a new fence was added in the back.  The metal pole was still in place though.

  2. The poor tree had already been amputated for trespassing on someone else's property... That's sad.
Good captures and an interesting visual effect...
    Great Sunday.

  4. I´d be scared to sit under the tree to the right.
But... strong he is - what does that pole hold?

  5. Hello,
It is sad to see the tree cut down. I guess the tree was dying?
Have a happy day and a great new week!

  9. Poor tree. Last week we had a storm here.

  10. Now that gives a whole new meaning to that song, "I'm still standing.." We have a similar situation in a neighborhood near here after a bad storm we had this past June. They are trying to salvage the tree. Those trees we lost, there are already new trees planted. Still there are a lot of trees that shouldn't be where they are...so close to the house that they fall on them during a storm.

  11. They didn't remove the stump. Not a good idea.

  23. A shame about the tree, but I do like that fence, the greenery in the foreground and trees behind.

  30. It's funny how stumps never do look quite as good as trees. That was one crazy looking crooked tree!
