What a shame. The house doesn't look very old, but it still a shame to see it as a ruin when new houses are being built, instead of adding a new roof on a house like this one and giving it a new life.
It's like looking at time gone by. We have lots abandoned farm houses here in the states. It is a wonder how it got to that point. Once you leave nature takes over. Beautiful photo.
I always have a burst of sadness when I see a house past repair stage. PS. I've learned 5 words in Irish/Gaelic so far! Have to practice them daily or I get them mixed up.
It must have looked great when new and lived in.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Rather sad to see.

ReplyDeleteLooks like that is beyond the point of no return.

ReplyDeleteThat doesn't look good.
ReplyDeleteI love photographing them but I always wonder about the people that lived there.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure great photos will be taken inside and outside of that house :) Happy week Bill :)
ReplyDeleteTime to call in the heavy equipment and start anew.
ReplyDeleteThat looks sad. Bet it attracts the kids to get into mischief.
ReplyDeleteI always stop and think about the people that once lived in all the abandoned house we are.

ReplyDeleteImagine the stories inside!
ReplyDelete...is it beyond saving?
ReplyDeleteIt is a pity the abandonment of the houses.
ReplyDeleteAn interesting renovation project for a professional.
ReplyDeleteHoi Bill.
ReplyDeleteJammer. leek mij toch een leuke plek om te wonen.

Podia ser reformada Bill.
ReplyDeleteAn abandoned house is the location of shattered dreams, a sad sight.
ReplyDeleteRuin is the right word for it.
ReplyDeleteDid you get in? I could not resist!
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to see such ruins. I cannot imagine how beautiful it could be many years ago.
ReplyDeleteNo falta mucho, para que no quede nada en pie.
ReplyDeleteThe walls must be strong to keep standing so well while the roof collapsed.
ReplyDeleteSad to see ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
How sad. Hate seeing unloved houses, although they do make good photo subjects. I always wonder where the people went.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's been quite a while since anyone has lived there!
ReplyDeleteNo people, no house---that is so sad.
ReplyDeleteUy que fotografia tan triste. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteAbandoned... left to the elements. : (
ReplyDeleteThe house looks sturdy except for the wood-relevant roof and door! Nice shot
ReplyDeleteOooh! Nasty!
ReplyDeleteOnce the roof goes it's a goner.
ReplyDeleteI always like to wonder what memories lie within.
