Pity of roof, they would probably be hotter for winter. For rain,I don't know.Maybe, to restore the house with their straw roof would be the best. Have a nice week,Bill.
That thatched roof needs replacing, but I understand it is quite expensive to do that these days. Thatch used to be for the poor, now just for the wealthy.
Some work to be done here.
ReplyDeleteHi Bill.
ReplyDeleteStill a pity.
looked like nice houses to me.
Greetings from Patricia.
I think it was a very beautiful house with a great landscape around.
ReplyDeleteThe wee house needs some tender loving care.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that seems to be well past the point of no return.
ReplyDeleteCome on guys, that can better. Who dares.
ReplyDeleteThe place and roof needs some love!
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
There is a lot of work to do there!
ReplyDeleteTime for the bulldozer.
ReplyDeleteUm telhado muito ecológico.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.

The land must be valuable.
ReplyDeleteLovely capture.
ReplyDelete...how much do they want for it?
ReplyDeleteWow, we don't have any of those around here. Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThe first one actually looks nice to me.
ReplyDeleteThey always seem to show wonderfully groomed thatch roofs on TV. That one is a real mess.
ReplyDeleteThose structure may be sound, but the owners better get roofs on them or that will be the end of the structure as well.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it will be replaced someday or if the whole building will disappear.
ReplyDeleteReady to be demolished. One could build a bigger house, I suppose. Nicely located. I believe I see the ocean back there.
ReplyDeleteI guess I don't want to buy this building, it is necessary to pay a lot of money for the renovation :)
ReplyDeleteMe lembra abandono.
ReplyDeleteMas reformado ficaria lindo! Abço

ReplyDeleteCould possibly salvage that first building for some interesting lumber.
ReplyDeleteComo vengan las lluvias se va a inundar de agua...hay bastantes huecos en el tejado.
ReplyDeleteFeliz semana,
That poor building has seen better days. Great photos though!!
ReplyDeleteIt will cost a lot to redo! Looks good though, he wants to put a thatched roof on our "in progress" pergola!
ReplyDeleteA lot of work to be done.
ReplyDeleteYou always have some very bright headers.
ReplyDeleteBuena fotografía . Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteLike your header, nice view.
ReplyDeleteGoodness, wonder will someone buy it and do it up to it's former glory.
I do like your header photograph.
ReplyDeleteThat building has certainly seen better days ...
All the best Jan
Thatched roof is very beautiful on a building
ReplyDeleteSão soluções sustentáveis, para telhados... mas de facto, têm uma durabilidade a prazo...
