Killybegs is Ireland’s largest fishing port located in the waters of Donegal Bay.
Fraaie serie Bill, het rotsblok in zee met de meeuwen vind ik erg mooi.Groet Kees.
Nice image of the Grey Heron waiting patiently for the next fish to come within reach. As for the gulls they are a little too distant to identify although the ones on the rock appear to be Common (Mew) Gulls.
Great bird shots. Like them and nearly smell the water.
I love the birds and the water!
Nice photos Bill!
...what a neck on that first one.
Love the bird shots!

Now these are really great pictures. Especially the first one.God bless.
Hi Bill, Such pretty pictures of the birds. Is it still cold there?
Hello Bill, pretty shots of the birds. I always enjoy the seaside images, so peaceful. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Thanks also for the comment on my post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
In the top photo the stones on the beach seem to duplicate the color of the bird. The birds on the bottom snapshot have a classic pose!
First time visit . . . I am looking forward to following you “Somewhere In Ireland “(Our favorite place to visit in all the world.)
Hello Bill.Such beautiful pictures!Great captures of the Heron Bird and the cute gulls!Thank you for sharing! Enjoy your weekend!Dimi...
That first shot is a definite winner. Frame it and hang it! The light is perfect!
Hello Bill. I started to say good morning, but suspect it is evening there. Nice shots of the birds. I'm a huge fan of herons, so must pick it as my favorite. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.
Plenty of bird life in your area!
I usually get a peaceful but slightly lonely feeling at the beach. The second pic captured that perfectly for me. Beautiful Bill.
Beautiful captures.Have a nice weekendMany greetingsMaria de Divagar Sobre Tudo um Pouco
Love the heron and the rocks with the gulls, Bill!
Herons are interesting critters.
I wonder what bird it is in your first photo. It looks bigger than a heron, or am I wrong?
I don't think I've seen a heron like that before. Nice!
Nice bird watching serie 😊
Hi Bill.Beautiful pictures of the birds and the Heron. Groettie from Patricia.
No witty thoughts. So, just, Hi Bill.
I like the birds, although the seagulls sure can make quite the racket. They have no fear at the lake where I live and will come right up to you. I guess too many people have been feeding them.
Lovely pictures Bill, the last one is my favourite. All the best Jan
Not too different from the cranes and egrets we see in Costa Rica. Perhaps a bit less comfortable.
