Killybegs is Ireland’s largest fishing port located in the waters of Donegal Bay.
Doherty's bust is a good one.
I would not like to drive on that road covered with snow.
Love it! And a great road to fiddle on it is!
That's a nice statue, and the town looks charming.
The town reminds me of Moville...winding, hilly streets. I am going to confess my utter ignorance. Who is John Doherty? Fiddler on the Roof I've heard of, but not fiddler on the road. Mea culpa!
Loved the 1st pic the best!
Nice street scene!
What a lovely area.
Nice to know about the place
Interesting and lovely road and townMB
Only in Ireland would a traditional fiddler be commemorated with a statue. Plenty of videos of him on YouTube for those who are interested.

Mr Doherty is quite a presence in this lovely town Bill.
Great to see the statue of the fiddle master! Do you know John Doherty's Mazurka? It is so nice to hear.
I love that view in the first photo.
