How it works is when you call the emergency services, they supply you with details of your nearest defibrillator & PIN number to gain entry. They now have three defibrillators available 24/7 in Carndonagh in case of an emergency. They have started a course of training for the local community on how to use the defibrillators.

That is very good for everyone who needs immediate help.
ReplyDeleteVery nice but you always need someone to use it. Better if such a person is also at hand.
ReplyDeleteA good initiative.
ReplyDeleteThat's good news, we have the same things here too, I know where the nearest one is where I use to work but have no idea whether there is one near where we live.
ReplyDelete...good cause in this beautiful little town.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting. This seems like a very good idea.
ReplyDeleteGood idea and everyone knows where it is. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteYou guys make me green with envy. These days in the US someone needing medical help is told to go home and die. What a wonderful idea. Some golf courses have such machines on hand for us old duffers who decide to nose-dive to the turf.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your wonderfully funny comment on Ocala! Hope you're having a great day!
A good idea. We have a fair number of them in public places, just in case.
ReplyDeleteGosh what a good idea Bill, have not heard of similar in Perth.. lots of phone boxes though!
ReplyDeleteThat is a super idea! I hope it spreads to here!
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea, Bill. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say, I definitely would want and need the training.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent service.
ReplyDeleteWonderful initiative and beautifully captured.
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea to have defibrillators in public places.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a good idea. Hope those who need it are not too far gone to remember a pin number and how to use it. I would probably hope a paramedic is nearby.
ReplyDeletegreat idea...i wonder if we do that here? i did see one at the ballpark a couple of months ago in the bathroom though now that i think about it! i love that building in the background!
ReplyDeleteI love this building and view. And I can see you have still telephone box there.. Lovely.
