the take down
these guys were all up and down main street taking the lights down all day.
Friday night was the last night for this and I was glad to finally get everything all lit up.
The festive days are over, back to the ´dark´! ;)) Thanks for telling me about sea glass, Bill. I don't think I have ever seen glass washed ashore here, but it must be a nice item to find.
Hoi Bill, ja ze doen het toch maar, ze mogen best eens aandacht krijgen.
ReplyDeleteGroet Kees.
Always nice to see people working.
ReplyDeleteFim da festa, gosto das fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom Domingo.

...nothing lasts!
ReplyDeleteI remember your photos of them putting up lights. Seems like yesterday! What a job. But the lights do make things more festive for sure!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm back on Blogger. Weebly.com didn't work out as I wanted. Darn!
Poor tree!
ReplyDeleteHere they take them down in the spring, but I think either last night or tonight is the last time they're lit up.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm doing this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI guess what goes up has to eventually come down. Looks like a big job. I love your last photo though. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteDone for another year.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of lights!
ReplyDeleteWhat goes up must come down.
ReplyDeleteA work that must be done...
