I am sure there's a story here.
Awesome view!
A spirited current Bill
Looks cold out there.
Southeast Asia has the Mekong, Africa has the Congo. Who knew that Ireland had the plain old Cong?
Interesting installation. Is there a background to this?
Looks quite chilly...
Pretty view of the river!Take care, have a great day!
Beautiful photo simply beautifulMy best wishes at this time of year for you and all your loved ones.Best regards
...a former waterfront property?
Lovely shot. It's been gloomy here with fog and drizzle. Happy Holidays to you.
That was a funny little building, Bill.
That looks like a fast flowing river. The remains of that little building look historic.
Good picture!!
Such a beautiful capture, Bill!
That's a very nice, wintery scene.
This is a beautiful scene and a bit moody.
Very interesting scene. I'm very intrigued by the story of the monk's house. Aloha to you friend
So Irish (reminiscent of Ireland, for me)! Love it.
How unusual to built the house right in the middle of the river. But at least he had a fireplace.
Great shot Bill :-D
Ha! Thanks for this lovely reminder, Bill.I have some photos of the Monk Fishhouse and one from almost the same perspective. What contrasts in this little village. Here the ruins of Cong Abbey, and ‘just round the corner’ Ashford Castle.

Bello rio. Te mando un beso
It almost looks Arthurian!
I wonder what kind of fish you would catch there.
That is a fabulous picture!!!
River is looking good
This is gorgeous! Would love to sit in the fishing house watching the river flow.
We were there, in 2017. I have photos of that fishing house too. It was a magical place.
The river looks like it's moving quite fast, hope you had a lovely xmas day.
I'd love to be sitting in a patio chair watching and listening to the flowing water!
Querido Bill, preciosa imagen del río, me encantóAbrazos y te dejo un besito
