the fish zone

the trucks delivered the fish to be processed, the seagulls gathered on the buildings looking for any leftover scraps.  The fish zone is always busy with activity.

from the other side

This was taken from the other side of Killybegs Harbour.  You can see the Old Coast Station (OCGS) in the distance with its tower.  To the left of the OCGS is St. Catherine's Vocational School.  The blue building in the foreground is a fish processing plant and its roof is the landing spot for all the birds who, as we know, love fish.  A few fishing boats leave this location early in the morning and also dock here on their return to unload their catch.
