population increase
Two cruise ships, the MS Astor with 620 passengers and 278 crew and the MS Cloud with 296 passengers and 185 crew sailed in to the harbour yesterday. They got to enjoy the town and the nice weather we had. It was a good day for their visit.

restricted area
when ships come with deliveries or a cruise ship comes to visit, the area beyond the fence is where they are met. These days security is very tight.

signs
that the tourist season has begun.
Saga Sapphire cruise ship, the first of the season arrived yesterday with 600 tourists and 400 staff. A couple of hundred more people and it would have doubled the population of Killybegs.
