took this photo back in 2022, I liked the way this little cottage looked except for the plastic flowers.
This is what it looks like now. Notice the plastic flowers are still there. I have no idea what happened to the cottage, maybe a storm blew off the flimsy roof. The ocean is only minutes from here.
What a shame.
ReplyDeleteQuite a change! Though... white.... when I look at houses here... aw, well, for now it looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteSad ...
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
That’s incredible. Looks like the back wall has gone, too. This could be the truth about forever plastics!
ReplyDeleteLa han restaurado muy bien y si el mar está cerca está muy bien para pasar unas vacaciones y unos buenos fines de semana.
ReplyDeleteFeliz domingo de descanso.
Gosh...what happened to the cottage?? It was so lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference.
ReplyDeleteNot only the flimsy roof but the whole back. It's quite a job to make something out of that again.
ReplyDeleteWeird. Some work needed to rebuild!
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful now, they did a great job!
ReplyDeleteTake care, happy Sunday! Have a wonderful week!
A sorry shell of its former self.
ReplyDeleteIt was such a harmonious white cottage. It's a shame something happened in the three years that have passed. I think it wasn't enough time for it to be destroyed by old age.
ReplyDeleteOh how sad...maybe someone will refurbish it!

Donna
...sad indeed.
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing...that the roof and even door were blown away, but the flower pots still remain. That means the gust must have come from the other side of the cottage, I'm guessing.
ReplyDeleteMother nature can be wicked. Or just time. And the plastic flowers are still there. Interesting to see what has become of this place.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a disaster movie set!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing, Bill. And sad.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteHope it gets built up again
ReplyDeleteThat second photo is just sad to see.
ReplyDeleteSo sad, Bill. I sure hope it can be fixed!
ReplyDeleteI love the charm of that little cottage. Even with the plastic flowers, it has such a cute, cozy vibe. Wow, being so close to the ocean must make it feel like a perfect little getaway spot storm or no storm.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame :-( And only a few years on. Hopefully someone saves it.
ReplyDeleteOh no that's so sad. Amazing that the flowers are still there!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cottage looks very bright and clean.
