super charge

the town replaced the old slow charge with the new faster one.
According to the ESB website:  If you're driving an EV with a battery size of 60 kWh, this means you'll pay around €33 for a standard charge at a public electric car charge point. Use a fast charger, and you can expect to pay around €39.

  1. In Australia, the super charge is usually taken up by some users as parking space

  2. Over here you get fined if you park in this space and are not charging your car.

    God bless.

  3. I expect people will be willing topay extra for speed and efficiency.

  4. The speedy charge is nice, is that price more or less than a tank of gas?
Take care, have a great day!

  5. I´m so glad I have no car anymore! And I´d never drive an e-car, way too dangerous still?

  6. No me seduce conducir, prefiero los transportes públicos y viajo tranquila.
    Que tengas un buen día.

  7. I thought fast charger would be cheaper.

  8. As Tom said, the future is here, a co-worker bought an e-car for her girls to learn to drive. I am still in my old Honda Fit that everyone thinks is an e-car, but isn't.

  9. Some chargers here are free. Others a few dollars. Those you describe are expensive.

  10. We'll never own one...the Lithium batteries here run about (for a Ford Mustang) Rivian battery...around $18,000 US dollars. The list is incredible with shocking replacement cost! So, no thanks.

  11. No matter how you look at it, filling up with gasoline is still a whole lot faster.

  12. I am surprised that it costs so much to simply charge up the car! That's about $50 here, same as a tank of gasoline.

  16. That is more expensive than I realized, Bill.

  17. I'm surprised it's so expensive.

  18. Quite costly for a charge, Bill. I never knew the electric cars were popular in Ireland. Blessings!

  19. Yes, I think you have photographed our future. That is roughly the same price of filling a fuel tank of a gas guzzling car.

  20. That's as expensive as in the US...I guess I'm a bit surprised. Hope things are well in Ireland.

  21. We have some charging stations around here too.

  22. It's a familiar piece of equipment, they are just about everywhere here.

  23. Hi Bill, I don't have a car but I like to see how things look in different parts of the world. Thank you so much for sharing this ❤️

  24. I never thought of the cost. But of course there’s a charge. It still means the people have to figure out something to do while their car charges. Go shop, go to the library, go eat.

  25. Electric cars are NOT for me!!

  26. Charging stations are popping up everywhere ... but of course they are needed.

    All the best Jan

  27. Here in the US president Biden pushed for EV cars and charging stations. The "thing" in the white house now has done away with charging stations and even though there was funding for more he has put a stop to them. Welcome to America.

  28. Wish they had more of these where I live. My daughter just got an electric car and she has issues with finding a place to charge it (other than home.)

  29. Time is money. I expect most people would pay a little more for the fast charge
