Jack Russell's can be very tough. We had 2 across the street from us, there were a real nuisance. Barked all the time and drove us batty. There were quite aggressive and finally when one bit the little girl in the family, they got rid of them both. I was thrilled. They had those electric fences and they would run right through and charge kids on bikes riding by.
Gosh, there are so many things I love about that photo and its composition and subject. You could write an essay for pages about the boundary between light and Shadow and this sweet creature that stands in for all of us finding his way in the light. Great photo! Thank you for sharing it with us
