I wonder how much sectarianism has been fostered in that church. The mere name “Church of Ireland” seems sinister, as does “Church of England.” It’s odd that nations claim the Church as theirs. I couldn’t even imagine strolling through town and seeing the “Church of Canada.” Who knows, maybe there’s a Church of Zimbabwe, a Church of Kazakstan, a Church of Bolivia? We’d be better off without all of them.
Good point, David. The US is heading in the direction of labeling itself a "Christian" nation. Scary, especially considering religious freedom was one of our most important founding tenets.
Landslide. Sounds bad.
ReplyDeletePraying you are all well in these storms. God bless.
ReplyDeleteGreat signs! The church is pretty. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe church looks magnificent!
