I had to do a Google search about the palm trees. Palm trees in Ireland are frost hardy and grow in gardens all over. ... However, they are not palm trees at all; they are the New Zealand native, Cordyline australis. They enjoy the common name of “cabbage tree”, supposedly because settlers in New Zealand found the young leaves to be a tolerable substitute for cabbage.
This is a lovely place, definitely looks like it could be somewhere on the Mediterranean, especially with those palm trees lining the driveway. Er sorry, cabbage trees. Thanks Andy.
Palm trees?!!... A very nice green space... I was checking the weather in Dobegal, they announce a week of rain and highs of 5º!!!... Take care of yourself, friend. ~~~~~~
Muy buena fotografia Bill, me gusta el punto de fuga que lograste.

ReplyDeleteBom dia Bill. Essas fotos são maravilhosas e parecem verdadeiras pinturas.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful landscape for that footpath.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly does have the landscaping to suggest villa!
ReplyDeleteIt’s so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks nice, esp. from the first photo.

ReplyDeleteWow! Palm trees! How does that happen?
ReplyDeleteA fine looking house, and with those palm trees and white stucco walls this could be Florida, USA.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, it does look like an Italian villa. I can't get over the tropical plants.
ReplyDeleteNice house!
ReplyDeleteHmm, to be that rich!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have been away to the tropics, Bill! Nice one.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful house
ReplyDeleteParece algo aislada, para preservar la intimidad, de las personas que la habitan.

ReplyDeleteHouse does look like a villa. Impressive.
Wow! But It isn't Irish style, is it? Who is living in it.......curious.
ReplyDeleteBella imagen. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteInteresting architecture, Bill, as others have commented and wondered if this house was in your walking area and if there were any similar styles.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely home. Does it fit in with the environment around its neighborhood?
ReplyDeleteIt is secluded but not far from the store or the beach. I think the trees give it a different look.
ReplyDeleteLoved the 1st pic!
ReplyDeleteUma bela propriedade, pelo que me parece... apenas parece que estará num período menos frequentado! Gostei das imagens! Um grande abraço!
