Dear Bill, how pretty! I always enjoyed taking photos of Gorse on our trips to Ireland, such a beautiful eye-catcher in the Irish green! You can hardly find it here in Eastern Austria. But I thought that gorse only blooms in early summer - climate change probably makes it possible ... All the best, Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2021/12/italien-reisebericht-ausflug-ans-meer.html
Not a hard winter so far then! I think that's good (but I never know about whether mild weather is what an area is supposed to have or if it's climate change).
There's an old saying that when gorse is in bloom then kissing's in season - in other words it can be found blooming almost all year round.
