Yup -- that picture tells the tale. Article this week in local paper here in Florida talked about how the outdoor dining season was 'just starting because it has been too hot up until now to enjoy it!! (Things are different here.)
Dear Bill, with a warm jacket and a couple of blankets it would work for a while ;-) Best wishes from Austria Traude https://rostrose.blogspot.com/2021/11/italien-reisebericht-ein-paar-kleine.html
What a quaint dwelling in your header, Bill. And yes, I imagine no more outdoor dining in your part of the world until warmer weather arrives. Here in SA we can dine outdoors all year round. In the Karoo during winter, folded knee rugs are on the benches with which to keep warm while you eat. Thank you for your continued visits to my blog. Jo
This reminds me of ice cream shop I passed yesterday with an outside dining area complete with kerosene heater and fire pit. An ice cream shop with heaters and fire pits?!
Ana
Winter is not fun :-/

ReplyDeleteIt's over for now, but soon it comes back, the seasons go by fast.
ReplyDeleteHave happy days.
I send you a hug from Brazil.
Here too although I saw a few people eating outside yesterday when we had a bit of a warm up.

ReplyDeleteLife goes on..
ReplyDeleteTime to go inside by the fire.
ReplyDeleteThe outdoor dining season seems to be over, especially here. The tables are stacked so they will be ready for next year. Nice pattern.

ReplyDeleteI guess that says outdoor dining is over!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder in this weather!
Saludos
The eating outside season seems to be at an end now, but warm weather will come again. :)
