  1. A private concert … the man with the phone does not seem interested!
    Have a nice Sunday, Bill!

  2. When we were there there was a queue to sit between them so we let that pass but have still a nice photo from nearly the same spot Bill.

  7. It is amazing that in his day Oscar Wilde was jailed for the very nature of his genes, and now we have statues to commemorate him. He would be amazed to see it, but I am not sure he would be delighted. He would doubtless have a few bons mots, however.

  8. I hope the musician does better by the end of his song...he wouldn't get much to eat with those coins. I like urban art, and now I will have to learn about Vilde, who I've never heard of...as I imagine most Irish people wouldn't either.

  11. I sat in that very spot, in 2015, right next to Oscar Wilde. That night there was a full moon over Galway Bay. Beautiful, a memory that still brings me great pleasure.

  12. Oh that is so beautiful! Piece of history to remember whenever people see those monuments. I have heard about Galway through the movie PS I Love You and it was a very beautiful movie. One song that was played there was entitled Galway Girl which talks about a girl with hair that was black and eyes that were blue. Catchy song

  16. It's a good think this musician has Wilde and Vilde there for an audience.

  17. Well, they cannot harm him at least.
Found some cool jeweller stuff and suggested to my Brother to try, it, too, he´s a Goldsmith, amongst other.
He never spoke to me ever since, he has "enough to do" ... Stupid, old Sisters should keep quiet, huh.
A nice evening to you, Bill.

  27. A musician is never without an audience in that spot, and he can snuggle as close as he'd like.
