  1. I do not understand how people can forget a house?

  2. Wonderful photo, even though it depicts sadness and abandonment. You really are good at expressive photos, Bill.

    God bless.

  7. Hello, the roof is a goner, it looks like it will be taken over by the greenery. Wishing you a great day!

  9. There are people equally old and forgotten unfortunately, and some look almost as derelict.

  11. It looks as if years have gone by since maybe a fire which took out one end of the building...and of course then nobody lived there. Yes sad, but I always think of how it had been before that event, what the people might have been like.

  13. Sad to see houses falling down but I like to think that it was a happy home at one time.

  14. Hopefully someone buys the land and builds a nice house there.

  15. That building has been empty for a long time. Someone's dreams have died.

  25. Hi Bill.

Always a shame to see it this way.
Seemed to be a nice place to live.

    Greeting from Patricia.

  26. It's sad that this house (and so many more in the world) was abandoned and nobody bought it and made any repairs it needed. I love the color!

  27. Bill - it makes me think of the people who originally worked on the house, especially the roof tiles. What would they think if they could see it now?

  28. Every time I have seen a similar derelict house, and there were many we saw on backroads of the VA Eastern Shore when we lived there, I have wondered who once lived there and why he/she/they left and let a home abandoned. But, never knew as most likely in the case of this place.
