the view

up in the hills on Roshine Road.  Looking down on the town you see St. Mary of the Visitation Church.  Further back and to the right of the church, you can see the tower of the Coastguard Station where we call home.

further up on the hill, foggy and cool

  5. Reminds me a little of Québec. As you come into any small town the most imposing structure is the RC Church - many of which are closed now due to declining attendance.

  9. What a gorgeous, gorgeous view!
I have two friends who visited Irland in different years. One last year and the other the year before. Both of them told me that while they were there, it rained every day but they still loved the country!! : )
