 a shortcut through an alley brought me past this old building with the sun highlighting the blue doors


 tree stump on St. Columb's Church of Ireland property



 the shoots of bulbs are beginning to grow.  I have no idea what kind they are.

 the loud mouth of the neighborhood, he's always squawking and is very loud


 down by the Foyle on the way home

  6. That was a nice wander around town. I think the spring flowers will turn out to be daffodils or jonquils. You are lucky to have frost on the grass.... here in my part of Canada there is no grass to be seen, everything is covered with snow.

  7. An interesting series, Bill. I especially liked that church's front door. And I want to say that it's always so nice to click on your URL and be confronted with that gorgeous view that makes up your header photo! The frosty photo reminded me of the rare occasions that we get frost and how that usually happens when I get up early to play golf and then have to wait until the frost is all gone because golfers walking or riding would damage the turf.

  16. I remember being fascinated by a documentary in 1963 when President and Mrs. Kennedy visited Ireland. It is a beautiful country. I love your church entrance photo.
