  3. Hi Bill, excellent photos. I hope that once the pedestrian gets into her car, she sees the cyclist along the road! Greetings, Jo

  4. We seem mostly have the same weather conditions as yours. Here fog all around too this morning. Great photos. You are brave to go out for photos, it is so cold...

  5. The fog is excellent photographed and it is always difficult to get the right atmosphere but you captured it.

  12. I always like to give cyclists a wide berth when I see them on the road. I wish that they would have enough sense to mount their bikes with adequate lights and reflectors, which often is not the case. When driving at night, I fear hitting one of them who is traveling without adequate illumination. Makes me both anxious and angry. The fog in your photos presents another environment that calls out for better lights on bikes and riders.

  13. It's another foggy day here too, Bill.
What a crazy cyclist...hard enough for drivers to see on a clear day.

  14. Those are great pictures. I don't like driving in the fog. I would rather drive in snow! We used to live on the other side of the peninsula right on Lake Michigan (we are on the bay of Green Bay here). Anyway, we had lots of fog over there. I found one of the things I really missed was that mournful sound of the fog horn going off. Somehow I felt comforted by it. lol
Have a great day, Bill- Diana

  15. I hope they all made it safely. I do enjoy foggy days but I'm guessing you see a lot more of them than I do.

  17. The mist is wonderful for photography, but potentially dangerous for pedestrians!

  20. I love foggy weather (unless I'm playing golf; I have enough trouble finding my ball without the darn fog!)...but I'd say that pedestrian and that biker better be careful. They should have little red and yellow lights blinking on their heads. You know, like aliens.

  21. We had a few mornings like that a few weeks ago, but not in the afternoon.

  22. Looks like it would've been a good day to hibernate at home with a good book.

  23. A scary time to be crossing the street or riding a bicycle, with such limited visibility! Great photos.

  24. Pea soup fog. It's not hard to forget to be visible. We traveled earlier this week and I took my warmest jacket - black. Not so good walking in the dark to a restaurant for dinner.

  27. The bicyclist makes me nervous with no lights/vest. We often have fog like this on our little mountaintop.
