motorcycle with a sidecar

parked down by the holiday homes on Montgomery Terrace.  Didn't see what make it was but I like the looks of it.

  1. You don't see them on the road anymore. We used to see them years ago on the road with the wife aside, somethimes with child on the lap :)

  2. Ha Bill. It must be a Russian Dnepr or Ural motorcycle. As commuter on a motorcycle myself in the seventies I remember these. Now you see them seldom.

  4. Looks like something you would see flying along country roads in the 1920's Bill, the female passenger's headscarf flying behind in the wind, it's a classic 😊

  9. That sidecar is bigger than the motorcycle. And, I haven't seen one of these for years, either. Thanks for sharing - most interesting!

  10. There are a couple of people I've seen here with side cars to their motorbikes. I imagine they'll still be on the roads until the end of next month, but after that, those things are sheltered until the end of April.

  16. I have ridden on the back of a motorcycle, but this does make me wonder what it would be like to ride in a sidecar!

  22. I never quite understood the idea of a sidecar on a motorcycle. Turns a rebel into a grandpa.
