When the "Tour de France" is going on, many men feel the cycling mood! :)
Ha Bill, mooie woonwijk daar, de fietser op de laatste foto weten waarschijnlijk niet waar zij heen willen of moeten, doen daar toch wel 'n beetje roekeloos midden op de weg.Groet Kees.
True, the speed they can reach is incredible. Here we see them often ignore the cycle paths and instead they go on the roads, very dangerous.
...oh, I would never be able to get use to driving on the left!
I am nervous around bikers and so always try to give them a wide berth. I'm afraid there'll be one I don't see in time to avoid. Speeding is outfor me.
Great photos, Bill! And I am happy to see the cyclists wearing helmets!
They look like some serious cyclists. And, of course they all look very fit.
This the "Tour de Castlebar"!!!
It looks like a good day for them to be out and about.
It's a growing phenomenon Bill, cyclists absolutely everywhere! It can be a little unnerving when they whizz by you so fast when you're walking ☺ are bike helmets compulsory over there, they are here.
All in the spirit of the Tour de France, I'm guessing!
Now that's what I enjoy. :-)
Tour de Mayo I presume!
There is something so satisfying about watching cyclists: agile, smooth and athletic. I am always fascinated with the sport (and SO disappointed in Lance Armstrong!!)
Cyclists are very dangerous...... ;)
