ship on lough foyle

While walking on the Coastal Walk we saw this ship heading toward Greencastle.  It is flying the Flag of England.  I believe this ship participated in the Irish Marine Search and Rescue Demo that was held here a week ago.

  5. The English in Irish waters?! It looks like a battleship to me. I enjoy all the shades of blue in the water and sky plus the horizon line and background. Good shot!

  7. Hi Bill! I wandered over from my cousin's blog, By Stargoose and Hanglands. I've enjoyed a browse through your photos--I spent a week in Ireland last year, a few days once before that, and hope to return soon. There is so much beauty, so much history, and the best of people on your green island.

  8. M107 she certainly has nice clean lines and quite typical of the MB's
of the old days from whence her hull design originated. The Foyle is a shared waterway between the North and the Republic is it not ?

  10. I'm just a wee bit jealous of the scenery you get to appreciate and photograph every day. Your ship/water shots are consistently excellent, Bill.
